Dakota Destinations

I watched the video posted to the home page called Dakota destinations. The video was about a bait trapping family in Northern Minnesota. They trapped fathead minnows called rosies. They are a type of fathead minnow and have a peachy red color to them. Does anyone have more information on these rosies? How did they come about are, they natural?
