Pretty sure that is riverfishers second cousin’s boat
HaHa you beat me too it......riverfisher references never get old.....what ever happened to ol'riverfibber anyway?
I think the answer to your question is in your statement that the trail you see that the right is the one left by the boat going ashore. Boats beaching like that often won't have a whole lot of obvious damage and the key places where it would have damaged we can't see i e the lower unit in the lower part of the bow. Add that to the simple fact that generally if you drop your boat off your trailer you don't leave it sitting there for a week it adds up to someone most likely either drunk or stolen boat out for a joyride.I've never been on Darling so I have no idea, and my thought may be way off. However, it looks like there's at least some kind of trail to the right of the boat and maybe an unimproved shore launch below the boat. Perhaps someone tried to use the shore launch and dropped the boat off the trailer when going back up the hill?
I'd just expect to see more damage to the grass, the motor, and I'd think that someone would've broken at least one of the windows if they hit shore hard enough to slide it up that far.
