The Devils Lake Chamber Walleye Tournament is slated for June 22nd and 23rd at Grahams Island State Park. There is a $6,500 1st Place prize guarantee!

Haha Yep. When I was in my 20s fishing out of an old deep and wide brunswick all I could dream about was to retire young and fish tournaments . I didn't calculate in all aspects of the age factor. Now I know why old farts back then used to tell me It's relaxing just to get out on the water.

I did the chamber back in the 90s. Weather was never nice. Wife heard the ad the other day ago and said we should sign up. I looked at her and said we wouldn't be talking after tourney.

Excellent tourney. Good fish can be caught almost anyway in Late June of Devils. Fish still shallow (pitching and working trees), fish on the move (trolling), and some have found deep structure (live baiting).

Wife and I are fishing it again. One of the more enjoyable tourneys I fish. 2 years in a row my wife has outfished me; and I don't change tactics to make it easier on her. I need to get the crown back.

Fake news. That total bag weight is near the 2 day total of the Casino Tourney a couple week earlier.Leader after day one of the Chamber is #27 lbs.. I think they took 2nd at the Casino Tourney.. Hagen and Becker.
KZZY radio will have it live Saturday 103.5 FM so they say
