I've been feeding Iams for years and have zero complaints. Dogs couldn't look better nor perform better. If it aint broke I'm not fixing it.

Thank you for asking this question. I walked around pet smart for 25 minutes reading dog food labels. Some didn't sound so bad actually but it was 6 pm and I was hungry. Have fed my parents dog science diet for years. Was kinda interested in blue buffalo but the last two vet techs said they wouldn't use that brand. So I'm at a complete loss. Did pick up a name tag for the pup.

We feed Science Diet here. Don't know if that is good or bad. Used to feed Purina, but moved up. Recently put the dogs on Mature Dog Science Diet and they seem to like it and act younger, but they are on other meds too, so take it for what it's worth.

I might have to check out this Iams food. Unless it's 46$ for a 30lb bag then I'll just stay with what I'm using

You know there isn't a single person on the board who believes you can walk and read at the same time. Nice try!

I switch to diamond natural from Purina one and have seen a difference in cost and less shit to pick up. When my older dog was little I fed him iams till they came out with there anti hunting campaign. This is a good site to see what's in dog foods.

Got this from my mom she rescues dogs with all kinds of problems and most of them need some kind of special food due to health issues one of the vets she works with is who gave her the web site.

Well you're not wrong. Plus those bags get heavy carrying them around whilst reading ingredient lists.

Why did they say not to use blue buffalo? Personally I use one of the 5 star taste of the wilds and have also referred to the above website. But, I thought BB was highly rated. Canidae is also a good choice.

Before I die, and likely after kids move out, I WILL have a dog named Damnit.

I have been feeding my Britt Diamond grain free. Seems OK. I been thinking of changing to Pro Plan Grain Free. It's pricey.
