youll understand why they did it if you research the 2025 NDAA that congress approved recently. Significant restrictions on civilian drone use are in the pipeline...

Actually we have strick faa rules/regulations now for recreational drone use.

What is and has been in the pipeline is banning the #1 recreational drone line-up from "DJI" Chinese flag ship. These drones have unbelievable technology for recreational use and decent flight range.

They're worried about DJI drones... Meanwhile every single one of us has a cell phone with 1,000x the data... Plus there's google earth and other satellite imaging. What a joke...

Currently taking a drone intro class that provides general information as well as info that prepares students to receive 107 certification. Instructor has over 500 hours / 5000 miles logged as a certified pilot. We discussed the ND legislation that Rep Mike Nathe has proposed to prohibit the state from using Chinese (DJI) drones. He held out his cellphone and laughed. Went on to suggest that there is nothing else on the market that comes close to the level of technology or reliability as DJI. Only question I have is why not?

Because our CEO's have farmed EVERYTHING out to cheap chinese labor/development allowed by our politicians who have been bought out by the companies....
