Anyone got experience with the Dewalt 60V/Flex Volt Chainsaw's? A buddy came out when we had that wicked storm last June/July and I was very impressed with his Milwaukee Fuel. I currently have so much Dewalt 20v stuff and have added two 12AH Flex Volt batteries and one 6AH during Acme sales so if I were to get anything it just would have to be Dewalt.
Main use is typical cleaning around the farm and a fair amount of cutting coming for fencing projects due to storm damage with a little recreation firewood cutting. I still got my Stihl but that needs a couple repairs and it would be nice not to have to carry both gas and oil on the 4 wheeler or tractor while out fencing.

I have Milwaukees version, its just fine for smaller/ short term jobs, as even the big battery runs out sometimes sooner than your project, but if you have multiple batteries you should be golden.

I have the Dewalt pole saw, that little thing is very impressive. Used it last yr to help at the golf course. Ran all day with a 9 and a 5 amp battery

I just bought the dewalt 20v- 12" chainsaw, mainly planned to carry on the sxs when out riding in the hills incase of coming across a downed tree. I have since found more uses for it, from cutting little trees and limbs around the property to cutting the 6x6 posts used for the deck i just built. Its light weight, easy to handle and I was impressed with the battery life. Using just a 5 amp hour battery, i was able to cut 4 posts to length and then notch both sides of each post for the header boards all with one battery.

Very impressed with it and happy i purchased. I think its going to get even more use then i anticipated.
Now i will say if im going to be cutting firewood and its a bigger project, im grabbing the 18" gas stihl to do the project.

I also have the 12” Dewalt. Works good up to about a 6” log. Light weight, less vibration, no need for ear muffs or a stinky gas can. A friend has the bigger dealt and loves it.
