Might as well. The herd will most likely going to be decimated with disease anyway

God I hate when I hear the term or reason for not doing something "It's time-consuming." No shit, people get paid to do things that take time. When I was a school administrator working on schedules was time-consuming. So was doing teacher evaluations. If it's a problem at least be able to provide somewhat of a time schedule. How much time did it take and how many officers were involved. Was it a year round job and was someone on patrol in the hunting areas daily.

With all that I have no idea how many hunters participated in the hunt. Plus, the letters from people not from Fargo should, in my opinion, have no bearing on the discussion. It's a Fargo resident issue.

No city hunt = lots of deer = eating the wifes begonias = smashed up escalades due to deer collisions. People cry for a city hunt. Add city hunt = less deer = growing begonias = no smashed up escaledes. Problems are reduced......Get rid of city hunt......See beginning of post....and repeat!

These "people" don't realize that the hunt is why the harvest is low and there are few problems with deer. If they vote to end the hunt, I give it 2 maybe 3 years and folks will be crying again for a deer hunt because their begonias are being eaten the the escalade is in the shop. Stupid!!
