Anyone hearing of anything on Oahe? I was in Mobridge yesterday and there were a few boats at the ramp but only seen one on the water. Are these warm temps It's holding it off?

Lincoln, kinda...
I was out at Horsehead this past Sunday, fishing was kind of slow for us. We ended up with 6 keepers, but that's a slow day on that lake this year.

One of the things that has kind of stuck in my mind is the relative lack of algae this year. The smaller lakes, and including my backyard pond, have all had well below normal levels of the green stuff. And I am not sure why...

It was a strange year. Devils Lake was a little off this year too from what I understand.

Big Muddy had a tournament last week from Bismarck to State line 6 Fish won at 14 LBs and change and 15th place was like 4 lbs they have really lowered the river here by alot so we will see when fish head more toward Bismarck. Going to be fun to navigate again this fall. Glade a kept dads ole Lund pro sport.

Mid Sak was slower yesterday, fish were very lethargic. Guess I would be to with 50 ft of water on top of me! Beautiful day though, only saw one other boat and ended up with 7 then spent an hour trying to catch a rod that went overboard.😊🎣🎣

Buddy and I fished Van Hook yesterday, 10/11 - spent almost 8 hours on the water. Hit all the usual spots...8 pound, Little Field, Shell, East Slides, west past Skunk Bay, few other spots. Water temps in the morning were 58 - 60, by afternoon 63 - 64. Fished minnows, crawlers, plastics, hard baits, and cranks. Minnows and crawlers best, ended up keeping 4 decent fish, caught maybe 11 or 12...quite a few dinks. Marked fish in 12 fow up on shelves all the way down to 40 - 60 fow following bait balls. We mostly targeted the fish in 15 to 25 fow. This has been one of the oddest open water seasons I've experienced, but that's North Dakota for you!

My brother was out yesterday down south yesterday. Some really nice crappies and three small walleyes.

I was kind of wondering the same thing. Last weeks fishing, while still enjoyable, was very unsuccessful for the big guys lol

Curious if the big lake has turned over yet? Doesn’t that usually happen around 57 degree water temps?

I fished the East end again yesterday and it was tougher than it has been the last few weeks. Fish were deeper than they had been and tight lipped. Ended up with 4 16-21". Water temp was right around 60 degrees at the spots I fished.

I'm up north catching Lakers, the bite has been unbelievable. My buddy and I had 15 masters in a single day, I've caught 5 over 40" in the last two days. And the graph is just loaded with fish pretty much every single minute of the day, super fun!
