I hope she gets every dime and then they have to fly the detective to Tennessee and dump him off with no money and no teeth to see what she went through.

FPD may try to settle, but I hope the lawyers don't take it. This is such an obvious oversight and overreach of our police department and AI. Hell, the former police chief resigned immediately before the news of this broke. He knew he was f'd. This trial could set a precedence for the entire nation as far as steps and dos/don'ts when it comes to facial recognition and other such computer/AI programs.

Knowing those dirty SOB's they'll want to take this to trial just to put that poor woman through even more. She's already suffering PTSD from the ordeal and they'll threaten to take it to trial to try to get her to settle so she doesn't have to testify.

What pisses me off is it's the taxpayers bill! They should make the police union and pensions foot the bill
