No, just find it funny that there's so many out there that think if they have the most expensive boat and equipment that it will make them great fisherman. Wannabes!

No! No! No! You have it all wrong! I have the most expensive, nicest, fastest boat out there so I won't have to think about my poor fishing skills.

I am not the greatest stick in the midwest. Am I compensating for that because I have a big, fast, sparkly boat with an even faster one on order?

Ahh, sounds like a little jealousy here today.

I don't even have a boat, but I still admire shiny fast machines. If a guy has a desire to pay for such a boat, why is he an inept fisherman?

FWIW, Sub boats a LOT of fish in a year, and he's out on the water a lot of times when a lot of guys would stay home.

I've had my alumacraft for a year now...it's a great boat to fish out of, but I'm already looking to upgrade to a sparkly boat. Why? Because I use it a lot, and you can't beat the ride and control in windy conditions of a glass boat(which are 98% of the days I go fishing here in ND). My buddy just got a new Nitro ZV18, that thing pounds through waves way better than my alumacraft does. Does it catch more fish? No, but if you fish a lot, I don't mind paying to have the performance and comfort to make my days on the water that much more enjoyable. In the next couple years I'll be looking at getting a ZV18, 619FS, 2080 Angler, or Triton 206 fishunter and I won't even think about the payments while I'm out comfortably cruising through 4ft rollers on devils. That being said, I'll probably look for used before new, because those damn things are 'spensive!

Where is that outlaw race youtube vid that somebody always posts after the tourney. I look forward to that one --- one of these days i have to sign up and bring my buddy with the allison along. Just to sit and idle while the boys take off would be a blast -- let em get down stream a little and then shit can it.

sub -- tell me you made the outlaw -- you probably gave the boys a run with that nitro. Revo -- how did that zv18 fish? was it as roomy as yours in the back ?

PS - the deals will come on the heel of the next recession. Boats generally crumble in the middle of recession. So just hold steady the deals are coming. gdp-ex-consumer0.jpg

Lol, Ive been looking for the 2016 Outlaw race video as well, Ive run up and down that river for years, and that looks downright crazy, and I like to go fast to!!
Imagining if someone, by chance lost control in that race?? Ugly for sure.

I don't fish the outlaw tourney. I don't think my ZV would run as fast as the Ranger with the chipped 250 pro or the Yarcraft with the 350 Racing Verado, but I would give em a run in waves. That Nitro is one bad machine in waves. I have some go fast goodies in route to my place and have high hopes for it next year. Still have to get a prop dialed in.

I dont have a super fast sparkley boat, but if i did it would be so
I could get away for certain douches as fast as possible!

80 Yamaha pushes my sparkle boat 34 on a good day. It's fast enough without a windshield

Yeah, the back was pretty close on room, but the bow had much more space for sure. Man you can tell the weight difference crashing through waves. It rode good, fished good, but not sure much on control trolling/drifting because we spent the whole weekend anchored up in the 6ft swells on LotW...

I'm pretty impressed with it to be honest, like a mini ZV21, and got it up to about 48 with the 200 I4 verado on the back without messing with the jack plate or changing props.
