Fishing sun tans/burns

Gotta say, I love my cool spotted croc tan on my feet every summer! In all seriousness tho, I too have had several surgeries removing various stages of skin cancer...pre-melanoma. Sun block, long sleeve Ts, great hat...all tools of the fishing trade now! Be safe out there ladies and gents and enjoy the summer season...make every single day count!

Went fishing one time..sunny and hot. Asked wife for sunscreen she hands me sunscreen..i pay no attentiin to what type of sunscreen. I apply sunscreen. Time goes by and i feel warm... ask for more sunscreen. This happens a number of times for a number of hours. I am getting no relief...feel my skin burning. I ask what kind of sunscreen is this. She seems annoyed i even asked. Turns out it is some form of tanning lotion to brown you up..spf 15...... I was purple for a few days. It hurt badly....blisters all over... never been sick before or since from a sun burn.
