If one goes to the NDFG page and go to the link https://gfapps.nd.gov/reports/fisheries/permittedFishingTournaments.pdf [FONT=Verdana,Arial,Tahoma,Calibri,Geneva,sans-serif]it will show you the tournaments for the year. It only shows a few now, but it is the end of the year too. At times there are three or four pages of tournaments listed, and when they become listed depends on when the organization gets their individual paper work in. [FONT=Verdana,Arial,Tahoma,Calibri,Geneva,sans-serif]REQUIREMENTS: 1. A thoroughly completed application along with the tournament sponsor rules and regulations must be submitted to the Department within 30 days of the pending contest (source NDGF page https://gf.nd.gov/gnf/fishing/docs/fishing_tourney_requirements.pdf). Looks like a full tournament. What’s the likelihood big payout tournaments like this pop up at other ND lakes next year. This is big money and the participation is there. Payouts like this might get me off my lazy backside and get back in the tournament scene. Wow.
pretty tight top 30! bet the gnf wished they could take 10% instead of the 5k max fee for this tournament lol. was everyone grouped up on a few spots or did they seem pretty spread out.
weights were spread out from newtown bridge west to camp cherith. Lots of untouched water due to the winds. Hats of to Jeff Clarke and the williston Cvb for a well ran tournament. Congrats to the Knox brothers!
I watched about 1/2 the fleet go past my house in the morning they got bigger balls then me that looked like peer toture on the boat and body they didn't come back as a group only caught a few heading back for weigh but it's worse then the morning. Congratulations the every team that stuck it out.
