Well after 61 days in the NICU, my best fishing buddies Clay and Jordy are home! They've been home for a month and my wife and I are in full zombie mode. The sun goes down and their heads start spinning. What have you had luck with for calming a fussy baby at 3am? I've had some luck driving them around.

Hate to say it but country music is what worked on our oldest daughter.

Check out momma roo products, they are swing type rockers with sounds and such, worked wonders with our little guy, they are great for colicky? babies from talking with others.

My wife and I did/do night shifts, once 8:00 hits, they are my responsibility until 1:00. Then once 1:00 hits, she's in charge. That way at least one person can get solid sleep. Wife feeds our little one before wife goes to bed at 8:00 and around 12:00 I'll feed munchkin again and give her a fresh set of skids. Then with a little bit of luck the little one will sleep until 5:00a.m. Once the babies hit 3-4 months they start figuring out day and night life becomes much easier! At least with our first one it was! And the second one is doing good to, until those damn teeth start coming in!

Put your wifes mamms to use and ditch the shift method. Real milk is so much easier!

Give them milk, aka warm milk coma. Schedule, schedule, schedule. Keep a routine. Our 1 child caught on quick. I think some luck plays into it as well. We got an easy one.

Do you use swaddles? My little guy loved those things.

^^^This^^^

There are these really thin, stretchy swaddling blankets, like cheesecloth. Target sells them but they can be found elsewhere. Not cheap, but we used them with 2 kids and have gifted to many friends and family. You wrap those little guys up like a tight burrito. A battery operated swing than swings them from side to side, add a little noise. Knocks em out.

Formula or booby milk? Once we found the right formula it was like a dream, well, because we could dream again.

I have good luck adjusting kids that are colicky. Breast milk is best but everyone's situation is different.
