Tomatoes and peppers starting to fire pretty good. Zucchini like crazy. Peas and lettuce wrapping up from a healthy crop. Few kohlrabi yet to pick. Have eaten a few young onions. Beets look like I could dig them whenever I’m ready to work. Okra just starting to harvest and carrots look like I’ll have a good batch again. Both batches of radishes produced like nuts like normal. Will be canning pickles and hot mix later today.

strange thing, Im getting a lot of zucchini but one single plant, right around all the rest, hasnt had a single fruit on it yet. Maybe its a genetic mutant or something, seems healthy otherwise.

I seem to get 1 kohlrabi plant a year that the leaves are as healthy as can be that never forms a kohlrabi. Weird

Between the cows eating the first batch of peppers and hail taking out the next batch I got no idea what pepper is what out there. Just have to wait and see, surprise surprise . There is like 150 guesses. LB

Ended up with 28 quarts of pickles and 14 quarts of hot garden mix on the day.

Dug a hill of potatoes today 8 potatoes under it with the biggest one at 1&1/8 pounds the other seven were just a bit bigger than a tennis ball, ate 4 for supper.
