Garmin mapping

I have the Garmin 93sv and put a 64gb mini sd card in it to map the lake. For some reason it will not acknowledge the card. I did read that it is recommended to use a card between 8 and 32gb. So is it not acknowledging the card because of the high gb, or am I missing something else entirely?

Grabbed this info from the owners manual. Guessing you need a smaller card.

"This device supports up to a 32 GB microSD® memory card, formatted to FAT32 with speed class 4 or higher. Use of an 8 GB or larger memory card with speed class 10 is recommended."
