i remember a few years back when we fished it and fishing sucked around the east end and they couldn't even get 200 teams, now when the bite is on they are full and have a waiting list.....

3rd year for me. Looking forward to a few days on the lake with a good friend and hoping to improve on last year when we just squeaked into the top 100.

This will be year #5 or 6. Some people don't like tournaments but I am a competition junkie. The next two weeks are my halftime for the year. What will it take to win it this year? I will say 41.20

Oh boy, gunna be a tough day o fishing possibly. 430am, T storms rolling in, rain setting up over the lake in a bit here. Good luck to all, stay dry, bring the rain gear. Better start pulling cranks deep right away, quite the lightning show.

Sawyer,
I found lots of quality fish in June but I haven't fished the east end in a month, so not sure what to expect. I've heard the bite has been good recently. Good luck to all. I'm sure as always some teams will weigh some big baskets.

I commend the Governors Cup Staff for not fishing today with the winds. Wish the Beulah staff last year on the second day would have made better call with the winds blowing 30+. Sorry but won't be fishing the Beulah tournament any more. It's better to maybe only have a one day tournament than have someone killed!
