I like to fish where I can take a leak outside the wheelhouse and not have to hide my wiener.

In part the shanty town exists due to established trails already on the ice and the piece of mind that if someone has driven there before me it must be ok. For me and my wheel house I at times end up where I see I won't worry about being stuck rather than where I may prefer to fish.

I do the opposite. If some a-hole wants to fish that close and I gotta take a leak there gonna get a show and some small talk.

fishin, not so fast, this pic from a few years ago, buddy was coming out to meet us,we were on wheelers about 3 miles out, buddy got behind a resort truck pulling a skid house behind a 1 ton truck, well they came to a bridge over a ice heave, dozen 's of trucks used the bridge that morning,"
so its gotta be safe" talk and let's open our windows as they crossed the bridge...They got a chain on the truck before it sank in 20'fow,open windows saved they're ass.
