How much flex have they got? Would there be any chance of flexing the blade off of it's mount/retainer or would the blade snap/break first?

I would think the blade would break before it came off the holder. I have broke a piranta blade but was using it for something I should not have been. Knives are not for prying and crescent wrenchs are not hammers I need to remind my self of that from time to time.
