Support from me would be based on how well it would be taken care of from the west? If its anything like how the water protectors took care of the enviroment, I say no way. If Ft yates wants to pay and take care of 50% of it then maybe.....we all know that wont happen and even if it did it would be funded through ND anyways....people down south may like it...quicker to gamble....so yeah...nope

Nope, my taxes are high enough. Unless just the south 1/3 of the state has to pay for it, then build away. ...popcorn...

They would have nothing to do with it . It would be all federal and state. Just look at the round about that just went in there. It cost triple what it should have the state footed that bill. Colored concrete in the median what a waste of money.

I can’t imagine what the tero fee would be on that size of project. Look into that if you really want to get mad

Years ago it was a go until the west side decided it would disrupt native burial grounds the feds put up the money, then they built the casino, all of a sudden it was ok, but the funds weren't there, now that they are struggling after poor management and the whole DAPL blow up it's ok

Took the words out of my mouth. Triple bids when you have to pay tero and local hands that may show up for 2 days and lucky if they provide any help other than pushing a broom

other than the casino -- how many vehicles would cross. I know that it would be nice to have --- wrapping up huntin near elgin and bomb east.

does the pontoon still run all summer back and forth to casino?

Maybe they are thinking it would help out with the new interstate, I-27, proposed to be constructed? It would be pretty sweet to connect with Canada when it becomes the 51st state

Honestly another bridge south of Bismarck would probably get a lot of use. 1806 is a pretty busy highway with a lot of commuting to fort Yates and back daily. This could open up job opportunities for both sides as it’s feasible now to work across the river either direction. Could open up ag opportunities and forth as well. I see it being neutral to good for the east side people and good to very good for people on the west side. All depends where it goes I guess and if they turn up sizzling 7s so I can get my money back….. 😃

I'm pretty sure they sold the pontoon and haven't had it for a few years now.
