I routinely purchase cheaper products, because I am cheap, and then kick myself for having to replace with the one I should have purchased in the first place.

I went thru several gas grills in my life, a ton of fishing rods, a bunch of pickups, tires, coolers, and a wife. Slowly learning the benefit of buying the top shelf from the get go.

A headlight I sure don't need at this point, but will purchase the Fenix if the opportunity is presented.

The price is a BIT of an obstacle, but you won't regret having the excellent light. It's rare that I think "dang, I wish I'd have bought the cheaper model". Especially with lights or tools.

I got lucky with my wife. She's low drama, and awesome.

Me too, on the second one. Had a 10 year practice wife that really taught me how to pick out the second one.

Keep improving at that rate and the third one will be awesome!

Hoping to not have a 3rd. Have 18 into this one, and other than typical not seeing eye to eye, she is worth keeping

First one was an old classmate of ours, you would likely know her. Was like getting paroled after that one ended.
