Another thing to consider is a different insole. There are various "insulated" insoles available. I know a couple guys who run wool insoles in their rubber boots for ice fishing. Seems to work for them. Boot needs to be sized to accommodate the extra space however as the insoles are typically thicker that what comes in the boots.

You guys with sweaty feet, a buddy of mine has the same issue. He used that Carpe Antiperspirant you see advertised on TV for sweaty hands. He said it made all difference in the world.
