Any recommendation on how to mount the Helix 12 to my 12ft Jon boat?

Does anyone run Garmin? Cabelas has them on sale right now. The ecoMap line has side scan and a version of autochart live plus preloaded maps. I have always been impressed by their side and downscan sharpness. Seems like a viable alternative for a fraction of the price of a bird.

I used one of these to mount it to my little boat so I could pop it off after the boat was loaded.
