How did you get your handle/nickname?

My handle on sites is almost always Vollmer, quite simply, my last name. But, I have a few nicknames. Main one has been "Mop", because when I was in college I just forgot to cut my hair for a summer n change, and ended up a bit shaggy. It stuck, for over a decade now. The good news is, the wife was 1st attracted to me due to the "mop". win-win

So, I see many handles on here, and i am curious how you got your handle and/or nickname.

I always viewed your name as being 'apostle like'. Jesus feeding the thousands.

My name is pretty much how it used to be, hunting anytime I could. Riding the other days. Should probably slip fishing back in there somewhere. I will be hunting a lot this year and the name will actually be accurate again.
