How fast does your boat go?

Are the RPM a lot lower on 2 strokes than 4 strokes? My 50hp Yamaha RPM at 32 mph is a little over 3000.....

Not always. You need to check your owners manual for recommended wide open throttle rpm range. For instance my 200 Yamaha HPDI was 5000 to 5500 yet my 350 Verado is 6000 to 6400 rpm.
