which tucr did you go with? I have a precision and power precision. The thorn bro rods dont even come out of the rod box anymore.

i played with one at scheels the other day. nice blank and i dig recoil guides but that giant handle turned me away. I'll have to call them to see if they can do something custom.

that eva grip is fantastic. But I agree, a smaller handle is nice.

No I have been downloading pictures to my computer then on to the site just like what Vollmer wanted us to do, I was using ahabs picture of his set up for an example of what JW made for him. Just doing what V asked and Wags keep your mind out of the gutter Creeper :;:

Wags I thought for sure I was on your ignore list because most FBO members do, I think Head Scratch

You guys all have some awesome info thanks a lot, i apprieciate it! I currently have two Pflueger presidents and a Shimano 500 on my other rods and they are both very good reels. Just trying to keep expanding my horizons. My new rod is a TUCR Precision 36". I also agree with them having to big of a handle. I think i would like to try the Tica but i have also had my eyes on that Quantum energy.

I went with the Tica Cetus SS500. Seems like a pretty solid reel. Also used some rescue tape to hold her on, i like it because it has kind of a sticky feel to it. Can't wait for some harder water now!!IMG_3083.jpg
