Ice rods

What do you rod builders use for ice rod blanks. I like the MHX blanks but hate the colors. Any other options available for ice rod blanks. Or is there a way to paint them different colors?

I know you can get Thorne Bros blanks. That's whats on my customs.

I use Thorne and MHX. Problem is, you pay for a Thorne blank. I just use a MHX, unless someone asks for a Thorne blank. Whatever you use, make sure the blank ks solid graphite and not hollow like a summer rod. That'll increase the durability of the rod.
