Lol good point. I have heard that it doesn’t even have to be a close relative either for the police to even be able to track you down via DNA.

Kinda wild that ppl were stupid enough to do this.
My Sanford clinic has been after me for years to allow them to DNA and catalog my blood. None of their business, and no I don't think it could better treat anything.

I wonder when people went into get tested for the coof got the swab test, did they say they were going to destroy the sample after conducting their test or did it get cataloged into a DNA website. You may call me a conspiracy theorist but it still does make you think that it could have happened. The pcr test is used in everyone of those ancestor websites to test your DNA , luckily I have watched enough forensic files to know this. Regardless if the nwo is going to make a bio weapon to kill you by your DNA makeup I'm hoping it's fast and painless. It makes you think though doesn't it

Hopefully they end up giving him the anti-crime vaccine.

One of the surviving roommates saw a masked man leaving the house and didn’t call the cops for 8 hours?!? What in the F?
Supposedly she also heard someone crying and then a male voice saying some stuff so she opens her door and sees this masked guy walk by her. Also sees him well enough to describe his bushy eyebrows and physical build, after all this doesn't check on her room mates or call the cops until like 11am the next morning. This seems rather strange. Could be she is just used to people coming and going at all hours of the night or something fishy is going on. Could the two surviving roomates be involved? I hope not.

The government doesn't "use" that data anymore than any joe public does or can. They take the DNA they recovered at the scene, submit it to ancestry or 23andme and see what relations pop up just as if you or I submitted our own DNA. That's quite different than have unfettered access to all profiles in those databases.

typical college setting --- people roaming in and out all night. Masks are common place on campus--- the fact though she didnt see blood on this guy ---- that is the mystery to me. In addition the fact that this guy left the knife sheeth when he is well adversed in how the laws work and evidence, that along with how the other person didnt wake up. Especially the couple and battle. None of those kids must have jobs; sleep all day and party all night.

Everyone that has been in the Military since 1995 has their DNA on file with the U.S. Govt. Not saying the Govt uses the info, but the VA was hacked and over 20 million records stolen. Then OPM (who does military security clearances) was hacked and another several million records stolen. I'm not saying the Govt uses all of that information, I will say the Govt is paying a couple of companies to keep my identity safe and send me a monthly report.

Bryan Kohberger agrees to plead guilty to all counts in Idaho college murders case: Letter from prosecutors

Bryan Kohberger has agreed to plead guilty to all counts in the killings of four University of Idaho students, sparing him from the death penalty, according to a letter sent to victims' family members informing them of the plea deal.

Kohberger -- who was charged with four counts of first-degree murder and one count of burglary in connection with the 2022 killings of roommates Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen and Xana Kernodle and Kernodle's boyfriend, Ethan Chapin -- will be sentenced to four consecutive life sentences on the murder counts and the maximum penalty of 10 years on the burglary count, according to the plea agreement.

He will waive all right to appeal, the agreement said.

Prosecutors anticipate sentencing to take place in late July, as long as Kohberger enters the guilty plea as expected at a change of plea hearing that's scheduled for Wednesday, according to the letter received by the family of one of the victims.

The plea comes just weeks before Kohberger's trial was set to begin. Jury selection was set to start on Aug. 4 and opening arguments were scheduled for Aug 18.

Prosecutors said in the letter to families that the state was approached last week by Kohberger's defense team asking to be presented with an offer. Prosecutors said they then met with available family members last week, "weighed the right path forward and made a formal offer" to Kohberger.

"This resolution is our sincere attempt to seek justice for your family," prosecutors wrote in the letter. "This agreement ensures that the defendant will be convicted, will spend the rest of his life in prison, and will not be able to put you and the other families through the uncertainty of decades of post-conviction, appeals. Your viewpoints weighed heavily in our decision-making process, and we hope that you may come to appreciate why we believe this resolution is in the best interest of justice."

The state also will seek restitution for the victims and their families, according to the agreement.

Crazy thing is he was caught using dna samples from a 3rd party company since he had never been arrested before. He tried to fight the sample being compared to a 3rd party company but I guess he must have lost that lawsuit. He's going to have a hard road in prison where inmates dont care for those who attack woman and children.

If my only 2 options at age 30 were life in prison without parole or death, I gotta believe I would pick death without hesitation.

AI probably just checked that box for you and is saving it for future reference. "He chooses death, give him life without parole" will be the recommendation it gives.

God Bless You Sir. They have enough to "know".

"23 And Me" is fun just like gd Barbie dolls. IMO: There was a pre-Genesis/ Genesis: "Lilith"/Great Pyramids: I still pray to Jesus Christ even as I don't trust "Church" like everyone in a fox hole or a crashing vehicle:
