I've heard baitfish feeding via hydrophone. The "high dollar" sounds exact. The cheap lure could benefit from heavier rings, trebles and lead tape: I'd add lead tape to the rear hook on the "high dollar" or weight the ass with Suspend Dots if they're still made.

I hate the little fellow in your picture Svnmag. I pushed my luck with them yesterday. With all the recent wind I have two or three hundred pears on the ground and there are thousands of wasps on them. Yesterday I made three four laps around the tree with the mulching zero turn. Pear sauce and wasp flying everywhere and the air was full of wasps. I got out of dodge when I felt a couple land in my hair. I have done smarter things.
