Landscaping rock - where to buy

Do all places that sell landscaping rock in North Dakota all get their supply from the same company? It seems that there are only a few choices for river rock in North Dakota. I would like some river rocks that are more uniformly round and flat and of darker color. The stuff I find in Bismarck is all the same. A lot of the river rock is broken chunks or angular. I'm making a stream bed and want something nice.

It comes from different pits. Call one of the places like knife river or such and ask for random oversize that should be a 2-4 inch size rock rough average. It will be non fractured round rock. I could hook you up but freight from over a hundred miles is spendy.

I got all mine from knife river. I don't see much for broken rock. Along with that, it was pretty cheap for 4.5 tons of river rock.

Could try Fisher as well. All I know is they have quite a few pits but as far as what material I'm not sure.

Fisher would have it along with strata or any of the other crushing and washing operations.
