I am walking with the shopping cart with Mrs johnr, we are at the local Walmart which is always crowded and they now have employees that load up these huge carts for customers that are to effn lazy to go get the cart and load their own commodities.
Point being these huge carts, and the elderly women that run into each other in the narrow lanes that decide they can park their carts right next to the others, and cobble up the lane as if they are the only ones in the store wanting to get their items, is the same as the asshole that drives in the left lane.

It isn't illegal, but it sure as fuck isn't what anyone with common curtesy and sense would ever do.

When I have to say excuse me 13 times in a 20 minute shopping trip, because the worker, and granny just don't get it speaks volumes about our culture these days.
A lot less of those at Target I hear... maybe try shopping there?

Damn, you must be a model citizen that never goes 1 mph above the speed limit? Curious, when your in the metro area and traffic flow is moving at 10-15 mph above the speed limit, do you hang in the outside left lanes with your cruise set at the speed limit being a hazard on the road?
I typically try to keep it at 5-7mph over the speed limit. Going under I guess really wasn't my point, it's going slower than usual traffic camping in the left lane. In the trash hole that is Minneapolis, I would say it's dangerous if you don't keep with the flow. But my point is if you camp in the left lane, oblivious to what others are doing, you're a stupid, stupid, idiot. There is a reason states make it illegal.

Funny this was brought up again. I just got back from South of Sioux Falls South Dakota. Don't be too proud of how fast you get back in the right lane. Those A Holes were twice the problem as those who stay to long in the left lane. I was set on adaptive cruise control right at 80 mph. More times than I coukd count on fingers and toes idiots pulled in right in front of me makeing the vehicle slow down to 70mph and sometimes less. Then the guy on you rear starts passing as your vehicle speeds up. Some of the idiots pass you and slow down. 370 miles and I had no vehicle in the left lane to long. The worst part is you shoukd be one vehicle length for every 10mph. Some of them pull in one vehicle length at 80 mph. Who's behind should the law chew the guy riding them to close when the other guy was breaking the speed limit and cutting off the person driving legally or Mr speedy?
In the cities driving is different, but out on interstate if someone in the left lane driving the speed limit bothers you your the problem.
Right on Prairie...Wonder how these same people who like to break the law and speed on the highways think about a fisherman who takes only 1 over the limit or only one pheasant over the limit? I bet they do this also!

From your posts on other topics here, I would guess you’re smarter than this. 99.9% of law enforcement allows at the very least, a 4 mph buffer before writing a ticket. Not really the case with game and fish limits. Letter of the law it’s speeding but this is a pretty disingenuous post imo

The good thing is there is about .005% of N.Dak drivers that may see this and think twice about driving in the left lane, and about 12 out of staters. Shouldn't be a problem from here on in.

Rush hour going out of Minneapolis on 94, 80 to 90 mph 6 to 8 feet between cars if you are farther apart than that someone will try to sneak in, crazy. Saw a hwy patrol sitting in the median didnt even move, and everyone was driving in the left lane the whole way.
The other direction coming into the cities traffic jam atleast 5 miles

The cities is childs play..miami to orlando traffic..way worse. I have traveled all over the country and Orlando to Miami takes the cake for white knuckle driving in my experiance. I go to the cities about 4 times a year and have never broke a sweat. The orlando to miami drive is ass puckering 100mph bumper to bumper traffic. An when i mean 100mph..thats a min(f150 gov at about 110mph). I have drove both routes down there. Along the coast amd inland (hoping inland was a better drive)and they were both the same. New orleans would be number 2..depending on time of day. Oh and to add...all lanes are full to the brim. If you have to take an exit you bettet plan a good 15 miles in advance.

If anything, we should already know our fellow members do not represent the ND public at large.

You should always give 110% when driving. If 70 mph, drive 77 and stay in your lane. 75 mph, drive 82-83. Left lane is for passing...unless right lane sucks and no one is around.

If you maintain the proper ND following distance of a half mile, use whatever lane you want.
