my wife and i both work in healthcare so i can maybe shed some light on the process but like you said, i too have yet to meet a medical coder or biller that " likes there job" i think one needs to have "resting bitch face syndrome" to apply for one of these positions

It is a prerequisite to have no personality. It's also thereally responsibility to blame every body else before they even look to see it was their mistake. It's funny when the bill a insurance company a patient hasn't had in 5yrs and then blame them for it.

Insurance company's hire the lowest possible iq's available. I'm pretty sure McDonald's sends there rejects that way. Often times they have to resort to forieigners to get the proper level of stupidity. And then they blame the billers.
