We could see the smoke from the high school golf meet at the air force base.

I was checking a research plot by Drake and Underwood today. I could see the smoke plume from both plots.

They should have let that dump burn to the ground so there would be less clean up. Garbage was piled up to the road. I bet some friendly things got burned that I wouldn't want to breathe.

Yeah I was looking at that....I can't believe the city let them get away with that big of a pigsty. Place looks like this type of thing was only a matter of time and definitely shows why the city took more of a keep it contained instead of full on attacking it.

That place was a complete eye sore! What a great impression to make when people drive by. It strikes me as ironic that it was a recycling place that just piled shit up and left it. Now it burns up with warnings of toxic smoke.

That overhead shot looks like something from an episode of the TV show "Hoarding"!
Really out of hand....do they not have any regulations in the city to avoid this kind of eyesore?
A fire was probably the best thing to happen with that mess. Bigger question, who gets to pay for clean up? Insurance claim now I suppose?

One family's life's work burn to the ground and you guys just laugh about it. It may not have been the prettiest place in town, but neither are both scrap yards. It's not exactly a clean job. But let's knock a local family owned company for having an accident that completely leveled everything. Who gives a shit a family just lost their business, several employees have no clue if they have a job or not. Come on guys, be a little better than that

That place was nothing short of hording so please tell me how one could even get to 90% of that junk let alone load it up to be recycled. Looking at the way they ran that place i will wait to see if I give a shit about what they lost till we find out if the way they ran that place wasn't the cause. If you need a front end loader to get to the majority of your stock something is definitely wrong!

Had one fire previously, workers had to park down the highway because they couldn't drive into property, trailer loads of debris spilling out on the approach, semi drivers had to halt highway traffic because they couldn't pull into junk yard....... it was a hoarding landfill. A recycling plant that forgot to do the recycle part.

Don't see anybody laughing on here about some one's loss. There is some comments about the eyesore that it truly was.

A recycling business in the Minot area is a joke. All valuable recyclables need to be shipped to Minneapolis or Billings MT. When the City of Minot implements the curbside recycling program in the interest of "environmental responsibility" where will the "shit" be transported? This recycling center was a shit hole dump ground period, and a environmental hazardous waste site.

Type in "Recycling plant fires" into the You Tube search bar and watch all kinds of fires and violations in these shit holes scattered throughout the USA.
