Nothing recent but I think the ice was crappy a few weeks ago.

Be very careful out there. I went one time in March a few years back 30+ inches of ice everywhere, but around the NW corner there was about a 30 foot circle of open water.

If your willing to drive to mooreton I would just drive another 15 miles and you would have countless perch and walleye lakes to fish.

I saw someone driving on there this morning while I made the drive to a lake that produced no fish.

Thanks for the info... I live in w Fargo and haven't fished that area before. It seemed handy for a quick trip but it sounds like I should drive a little farther.

You can get on a bunch of pike down there but boy has it been tough in that area for eyes or perch the last few years. Atleast for me. I'm no great fisherman though

Captain Ahab mentioned the open water in north west corner, there are wells in that corner supply water to the lake, be careful in that corner.
