ND antlerless 2nd draw

Going to be putting the wife and myself in for the second draw...anybody willing to share which unit is best in regards to unposted land and state land? I did look on ND G&F site and looked at the PLOTS guide, but thought maybe somebody on here is willing to point a guy in the right direction, im not familiar with that part of the state.

if you apply for 2nd draw for a doe tag and get it do you lose your preference points?

No, you only loose your point if you get your first choice.

3F1 has a fair amount of huntable ground

3F1 had good PLOTS land, some land that isn't yet posted and some decent state land. I've hunted all the units but 3E1 and 3E2. I shot my deer in 3F2 last year. I'd say those are your best options. Get out and push some land and you should wind up with a doe pretty easy.

4F has a large portion of BLM land on the far west side that borders Montana. Not the best habitat for any wildlife but it's a lot a lot of public land there.
