ND concealed Weapons Permit

I just received a letter saying my cwp is expiring in May 2026. Im just wondering if im wasting my time by renewing my concealed weapon permit since the new law passed and their asking for $60? Says online anyone can conceal a weapon with just a driver's license now days.

Interesting that you received a letter. I've never gotten one in the past when it was set to expire.

Personally, I am planning on renewing my Concealed Weapon License before it expires this fall.

Just got mine also, I just love the fact I have to go get a money order or cashiers check , it takes 60 fricken days or more to get it , do you think they will know if my check clears by then , also some of the questions are basically laughable

I renewed mine last time as you have reciprocity with it in I believe 38 states.

Blue states are class 2 (shooting test) recognize ND. That is what you want.

correct me if I am wrong with a weapon in the vehicle and a CC permit, while recommended one is not required to inform officer unless asked. Without a CC permit one is required immediately to inform the officer or face charges. My wife keeps hers for this very reason as she has no idea what I may have left in my vehicle when she drives it.

was at a parts store looking for specialty bearings and the young feller who was helping me me couldn't find what I was looking for said let me get "fossil" , he walks in the back of the store and comes back with a guy who looked to be 100 years old . Fossil takes a look at my failed parts ,calipers them and walks away and comes back about 20 seconds later with the parts.
