So my Garmin, i bought about 15 years ago for my bike. Is this something i should look into? Does it update my Garmin and is that easy to do? db

If your Garmin came with Lifetime Updates, you can update it free of charge.
If it didn't, I think you can buy an update.
Ours came with lifetime updates, which lasts until Garmin decides not to make updates for that model any longer.
