Well, my daughter just passed her hunter safety course yesterday. Needless to say, I can't wait to get her out for her first adventure afield while actually carrying a firearm. #oneprouddaddy!

My boy was able to get 4 pheasants this season on his 3 trips out, he passed his hunters safety a couple months back. He seems to be so much calmer and laid back then I remembered being.

Congrats to the future hunter, you will find its way more fun watching /helping them then actually hunting yourself

I agree with Johnr. Enjoy it while you can. Mine are off to college and although they are close to home, they are in a bunch of activities that prevents them from hunting and fishing. My oldest had his 1st summer off last year and he spent it working ALOT. Guess that's part of growing up. I still don't have to like it tho.
