I’d listen to espringer. Ask Vollmer to delete this thread.

Getting turned around with directions is no big deal if you’re driving safely. Most women do that their entire lives.

How’s a doctor gonna figure this out - and what meds might they prescribe?

Ive seen what they put in Biden’s veins and I don’t want it.

Also - most Dr’s are greedy hacks from what I’ve seen as of late with COVID.
I think having a Dr at the very least give a prostate exam is the first step.

Seriously, I wouldn't say anything unless it became a pattern. My prescription is a glass of shut the h up.

The fact you realized you were turned around and found your way back out tells me your fine. It happens to the best of us. Grand Forks confuses the heck out of me.

Thanks for all the comments and after reading some consider asking for this topic, i started, to be deleted. But i am fine and just feel it is a good topic to discuss.
One thing i learn today, is when you get old do not tell anyone your concern about your sanity or even joke about it. Someone will try to put you away if you do.

But three of the turns i missed was because i was in the wrong lane to turn. Fourth one i just missed and as i went to the next block to turn around is when i found the draft horses and cover wagon. Great fine for me. The finger came when i thought there was enough room to move lanes with the turn signal on but the guy behind did not feel that way. And yes, i did turn to soon one time but just kept driving on that street to get to where i was going. Finally, when i left the rummage sale i thought i was going south but the street sign on the second block said i was going north. So, no big deal in IMHO. Just need to be more focus on driving when i drive.

Do not plan to see a doctor and the wife and i have discuss between us and with kids about getting old and what we would want them to do and watch for. Hopefully, like a lot of old people we will die in our home in our sleep. Got a ways to go yet for the both of us as we have no health problems. Wife had cancer but she is fine. Junk does not work; prostate is a little big but no pills and i feel great. Life is good and i look forward to each day. Not enough time in day to get all i want to get done. Retirement is good just waited too long to take. Love my old mill and have no complains. This evening i put in another food plot with my son. Got some decent pictures and 2022 looks good for now.
I am not as sharp as i once was and that comes with old age. Now and then forget the name of someone who i have not seen for some time. All comes with age.

But maybe one problem:
Took on a summer job of mowing the city cemetery. 15 hours to mow with zero turn and have done 8 times so it is getting old. But monies are good and with those funds i will purchase a couple of rifles that i always wanted along with paying for my hunting times. A couple of other things and would like to buy something for the wife of 51 years.
But now and then i feel someone is watching me and now and then i see a imagine off to my side. When i look there is only a tree or grave marker there.
But i can explain that away as i am in a graveyard, you know. I do believe in the hereafter. db

Ok, so as someone who lived if GF for 9 years, let me drop some news on you. El Forke Grande is the absolute least friendly town I know of in ND to drive around, and that is odd given it's maybe the best gridded street system in the state.

They a lot of weirdness in the residential areas compared to just about anywhere else in the state, they got me for several parking tickets in the 90s that left me scratching my head with their street sign logic.

db , If you remember why you drove to GF and what for , I'd say Life is Good and normal. If by chance you don't know why you went there, tell your family. A friend's Dad went missing and ended up gettin lost in GF like you did. He got pulled over by the cops and family was called , he was conused and couldn't remember why he drove 3 hours to get there.

The most painful thing I ever had to do was take the keys away from Dad, but I never complained when I had to drive him or Mom somewhere. LB

Agreed LB,my pop's was pissed at me as well, one week later after my pop's was grounded I got a call from a local car dealer that my dad was they're trying to purchase a car....I told the mgr that called me he can't and shouldn't drive even tho his D.L was still valid, dealer mgr said my pop's couldn'tbuy the car as he forgot his check book that's why they called me....after my pop's rode his bicycle 10 miles to get to this dealership at 90 years old....my pop's told me he felt trapped in his house (alone),the next hurdle was assisted living.,that was a shit storm to get him moved, boy was he pissed, once in the home he called weekly trying to bribe me with $100 to come get him to go back to his house, didn't have the heart to tell him his house was sold, not that he would remember (dementia)

Davey:

I remember why i went there and what i bought and where i bought it and i found my way back home.

Back yesterday i went looking for what i bought which included bullets but could not find. Today i found under the back seat of my 97 Dodge, Cummins, 2500, 4.10 gears, manual 5 speed, positive traction with a new set of lugs and it has yet to be outpull by a chevy or ford (i do remember putting them there now). I remember those pulls too.

I AM FINE db

Yes, i took my dad to the hospital telling him i was hurt and needed his help. He then convinces the doctor he was fine but i sat with him with the doctor and asked some question. It was all it took. It brother me to do that but it needed to be done.
He never left but spent the next 10-12 years in a nursing home. One day i remember like yesterday when he told me i was the worse son any father could have. It hurt and still does. Have told the kids and they understand going forward what can happen. Life can have it tough moments and getting old is one of them. db-2

Viagra Db. Don't talk about memory. Maintain emphasis on your "limp" noodle and the ability to still pull leg.
