Maybe you had it with for another reason but those little lithium jump packs are pretty slick. Mine stays in my boat and then gets transferred to the ranger for the winter.
I have the heater, fog/flood lights, and all the excess whatnots hooked to that little ranger battery, a good cold day makes that battery pretty week. I would guess if I could fit a regular car sized battery under that little hood I would be golden. I have always wanted one of them jumpers, but years back had one(as big as an air compressor), and when I needed it it was dead. Of course it isn't the fancy ones of today

What do you guys use to light up an area for low light tip ups?

I like to fish into the dark a bit, and it really sucks trying to see if I have an array of tip ups, jaw jackers spread out.

I have some head lamps I set next to them now, but its not ideal

I use a small rechargeable spot-light. Works great.

Just pull one of those generators with lights that they use at construction sites. đź‘Ť

I have actually thought about that. It would run the lights, the heaters and fans, the microwave, and all the gadgets one would want to bring. But guessing the rent of it all would be prohibitive.
Maybe if one was to have a weekend shenanigans event with a few dozen it would be worthy.

Dewalt Flashlights. Aim them at your tip up or rod. DCLO4O Amazon has them on sale today for $35. I have been using these for the last few years and they work great.

Individual led tip up lights are awesome. When the red light comes on you go. No worry about lighting a whole area. Mine have lasted for years.
