im on the wentz band wagon, dont get me wrong, but to give up all that they did to trade up to get him in the draft?... not the best choice in my opinion (i hope im wrong) he has not proven himself by any stretch of the imagination, he's played something like 23 games against defenses that arent nearly the caliber the other qbs in more prominent schools have been facing, but the scouts know what they are looking for, they are looking for a profile, is he smart? yes is he the right height and weight? yes is the arm strength and footwork there? yes is there potential for him to be a hall of fame qb? yes but there was potential for Sam Bradford to be a hall of fame qb, he very easily could be a bust and thats a lot to give up for a guy that hasnt proven himself as of yet in my eyes, i hope he comes out of the shoots with 30 tds 5 int and a zillion yards to be honest with you, but im not going to bet the farm on him just yet... we will see what the first couple years in the pros do for him and then have a conversation on whether it was a good move in the 2016 draft until that time nobody will know whether this was worth all of this hype and trading or not..
