Nope..posted befire i watch nfl but really dont have a team. Dont hate him or kirk..just dont think they are good. Bench warmers also get a ring....I hated the Kirk Cousin deal so I get it. You keep hating on Darnold. I'm sure he will feel a disturbance in the force because of it. Maybe while he is out having a parade and getting fitted for a super bowl ring it will bring a tear to his eye?
Kind of hard to compare the championships when the Vikings didn't exist until 1961 and the packers started in 1919. So lets do championships from 61 to 69 I will acknowledge that the packers under Lombardi were pretty dominant. The Packers win those years 5-1. In the super bowl era the Vikings are 0-4 and the Packers are 4-1 which means in the Superbowl era the Packers have been in the Superbowl only ONE more time than the Vikings. Over the that span the Vikings have won more games in total than the Packers. Vikings hold the edge 517-498. Although I will concede that the packers hold the Head to Head 67-61-3 over the span in the Superbowl era. Since 1961 we are basically the same team as the Packers with the only real difference being winning or not winning the Superbowl. we have both won the division 21 times, we are both 3-6 in the NFC championship games. So again I say if the Vikings are mediocre you must concede that other than winning the Superbowl the Packers have been mediocre also over the span of the Superbowl area.No I was answering the member who said something about “Pukers” worse than Queens. Those numbers would be 13 Packers championships to 1 for the Vikes, and 4 Packers Super Bowls to 0 for the Vikes. It’s always funny when a Vikes fan says quit living in past glory and then wants to call the Pack a worse franchise because of Super Bowl era regular season records.
sam darnold (W, Lombardi, ring)Sam Darnold (19/38, 202 yards, 1 TD, 0 INT) he killed it out there today
Kind of a sad list if thats what they are looking at. I think I would do status quo until something better came around.https://thevikingage.com/espn-analyst-says-all-top-quarterbacks-vying-join-minnesota-vikings
I kept reading expect to see a top QB, in the names listed I guess I didn't see one that I would consider stellar.
I dont think they have had a trophy to release...I've come to realize the Vikings pick the sticklebacks from the minnow bucket each and every time yet are masters at catch and release of the trophy's.
Can't expect all that much for $12M these days.He sure sure did everything in his power to f up that superbowl window in his short tenure.
Hire RobPerhaps its not him? One hopes it was and we find a better GM, i still think a retired player would be a much better option.
