For the life of me, I don't understand owning "pets" of this kind. I'm sure MSA will vehemently disagree, but this is needlessly sad beyond belief.

F that. I have 3 boys, 5, 2 and 10mo. Any fricken animal that has a perpetuance for killing to feed has no place in a home. Snakes can't be domesticated, alligators can't be domesticated, wolves, lions (large cats), they all kill by instinct. Keep them in a zoo

I'm not understanding why an axe is required... cannot imagine the horror all of these person have / are going through.

I would have cut that thing into six inch pieces after finding him. I can't imagine the horror of such a find
