It’ll still be won by scopers with some fake crawler. Or a mooch minnow or jigging rap. Pretty easy to predict I think. Some have said it’ll bring back trolling and I don’t think so.

More interesting is the locations. No Dakotas tournaments and only one Great Lakes event. LOW championship is cool. I wish they’d come west more, but given limited lodging at Peck or the WY reservoirs I get it.

If they’d do no FFS for an event or two THAT would be interesting. But it won’t happen.

The only thing better than dragging lead weight on wires around while on a boating excursion is watching other people go on boating excursions dragging lead weights.
I guess it is impressive how walleye guys have learned to cast the last few years

I agree it would be interesting to see if the young guns could win without it..

The no livebait thing is at least a start and perhaps they'll actually use the baits/lures of companies plastered all over their boats and sleeves. Good luck with them urchin baits. I also like the 14-day prior to the tournament "practice, off limits" rule changes - paying a guide or bartering information from the locals as pre-fishing tactic is just too easy. Make em earn dat money!!
