Do the beetles get fed in the off season? or do they just hibernate so to speak?

I only want one and then KDM is going to do the rostrum and we will drink busch lights whilst admiring it.

KDM did 2 for me last year they turned out great. I have gotten a fish all but one year. Last year was fun caught 7 one day and got my keeper the next. Then my wife started fishing hooked into her fish and snapped the handle off the reel.

Giving it a try for the first time. Should be a blast.

About a week before you go, take a baseball bat and have a buddy take a couple shots on your ribs season them. This type of fishing is not for the average "Joe Blow" bobber trolling type fisherman.

If you're still capable of feeling pain while paddle fishing...you're doing it wrong.

I run a 10foot med hvy rod with 80lb power pro. Most guys run the same rod but use 30lb mono.

To get a paddlefish skull done here at Fort KDM is $75. Just bring us the head and we will cut the meat and other tissue off. There are some fragile bones in the back of the skull and on the underside of the skull that if you don't really know where they are and they get cut off or damaged the skull doesn't look quite as good when it's done. Thanks Fellas and Good Luck Everyone!!!

Theres a few people down there. Not much activity though being a Monday. I've heard of a few people hauling the campers out to let them sit till the weekend. I'll take a spin through Sundheim here in a few min, I'll let ya know if I see anything neat.

We took off toward the confluence after work yesterday and the boat ride was longer than we fished this year. We were lucky enough to catch an 87lb and a 78lb within fifteen minutes of wetting a line. That does not happen very often!
