I have a Gamo break barrel and it is as described by Snow. Not consistently accurate at all. I have shot many rabbits with it but it seems to be a wear issue now. I like the 22 with the sub sonic bullets. However they are way more dangerous as they fly much further.

I tried to find the You Tube video I watched but was unable to locate. The reason the break barrels are not as accurate is because the barrel does not come back to rest exactly the same "every" time that they are cocked. The side lever is much more accurate for this reason.

Also, a nitro piston or compressed air system is considered easier to shoot than a “springer” due to less moving parts.

About the only reason I bought a pellet gun was those cold boring days of winter, I could go down into the basement and shoot from one end to the other, about 50 ft. Multi layers of sheetrock scraps and old Bugle Magazine pictures and I am elk hunting again. Keeps the old eyes sharp and hands steady.
