Perch/Panfish Bobber Boards

Fellas,
Have been talking with a few folks who use "boards" to keep their bobbers above the hole for easy viewing from a distance. Sounds like a good idea as some of these lakes have some pretty finicky fish and this would make covering a little more ground easier to do instead of walking around constantly trying to see small bobbers in the hole. Anyone have any pics or ideas they wouldn't mind sharing on making boards or what has worked well for them? Seems easy enough, but with all the creative folks on here, I figured I would get some input. Thanks!

If need be I just grab what ever is handy and put another small bobber above the main bobber so I can see it . set the second bobber with just enough line that if the main bobber wiggles it will pull second bobber off. I usually just use the long foam bobbers and shovel the snow away from hole so I can see it.

I grew up fishing this way. A small bobber in the hole, then some slack line, then a big bobber sitting on top of an old Schmidt big mouth bottle. The sound of a bobber coming off the glass bottle and hitting the ice is burned into my head LOL! My dad still covets his collection of big mouth bottles. It works pretty well, just a bit cumbersome carrying it all. But probably as simple as you need. I am sure you could engineer something a bit more compact, a simple wood or metal T to hold the bobber would suffice.
