Perch schools

Do Devils lake perch mostly school up with fish the same size/age or do they mostly school up with perch all sizes together ?

Not sure about DL but few days ago I was site fishing perch on Stink Lake. Could see them in 10' water. Could pull it a way from the little 3-4" and drop it back down for the 10-11" so those classes were hanging together, might be a little different story with bit larger perch.
