Polaris Slingshot

Anyone have one of these? I imagine there were a few in Sturgis cruising around.
Jury is still out for me on whether I would buy one of these toys.

I see a couple running around Bis/Man area. I am waiting on more reviews after a year or two go by and for any bugs to be worked out then I may be interested as well.

What's the point. It's not a motorcycle. It's not a car. According to the review its not very fast and doesn't handle real well. I'd much rather have a nice used Vette for the money and then you would have something. This seems to be an answer to a question no one asked.

Watch them on utube, reviews aren't that good. Doesn't do a thing for me , I will stick to my Canam Spyder.

the reviews are not that great 22,000 buy one the back tire can come loose taking corners a little to fast and the only storage is behind the seats. yea I'll stick to my Goldwing.

dug a little deeper, depends on your state ND you just need a drivers license, AZ for example you need drivers license and motorcycle endorsement

North Dakota requires a motorcycle licence to ride a spyder. In fact, they have a special course for Spyders. If you take the test with the SE transmition (electric shift) you are restricted to a 3 wheeled motorcyle with an automatic

Well, I can tell my bro-in-laws dad he was wrong then. I told him I doubt that was the case of just and DL and he swore up and down all you needed was a DL as he was looking at getting a Spyder. #nevertrustaninlaw

Yeah, I am thinking instead of laying down that chunk of change for the slingshot, that Polaris Northstar edition looks sweet! Would work swell cruising across the hard water looking for lunkers. Put some tracks on it and I would be set. Much better use of money than this slingshot thing-ama-jiggy. Any one have a ballpark figure what putting tracks on that unit would cost?

They were around 4000 a few years back. I had a set on a 650 prowler wasn't impressed. Your top speed is cut in half with tracks on
