Anyways I picked up a JM clam thermal 5000 last year. Nice upgrade from my 6800. Good for family outings and like most posts I see, I also have an older Scheels flip shit for when I'm alone and want to move around pretending I know how to stay on a school of fish or follow lake contours.

Oh, and for painful memory I still have my first clam jr. The one where u assemble the frame then put the canvas over it. Countless times I'd have to tie that shitter to the truck to keep from blowing away. Maybe this season I'll wait for a solid 40mph Dakota breeze and send it across devils lake.
