Just a little 500+ acre retreat near Fort Ransom along the Sheyenne River Valley. Few deer. Private fishing pond. Few more deer. Couple deer stands. Did I mention deer?

Only $4Mil (well, $3.95 but who's counting???)

Let's see, I'm pushin' 50 so I might have 25 good years left so if I had 4 million to burn, I could spend 160K per year on hunting trips for anything I want worldwide......OR.....buy 500 acres in ND and hunt deer. HMMM............. I believe I'll take the hunting anything I want worldwide for 160K there Bob.

KDM, you think too SMALL...methinks the feller who owns this does that AND hunts wherever the heck he wants the remainder of the year. Definition of having cake and eating it, too.

Guywhohastoomanychores, that's what the hired help is for. You think someone who spends this coin on east Nodak land actually spends his weekends MAINTAINING the place??? Pfft...plebian.

I know of a place near my parents' that was listed similarly on Cabelas outdoor properties thingy a few years ago. Something like $4k an acre for what previously was $500 an acre pasture land.

Then again, I always say the right price is whatever a seller and buyer mutually agree upon.

Actually, guywhoknowswords, PLEBIAN and PLEBEIAN are both accepted spellings of the word.

Just depends on how many vowels you want to buy on Wheel of Fortune.

I really want to watch this and see how long it takes (and how far the price drops) before it finally sells. We could make a pool! $5 in and winner takes all.

My small thoughts are this: If I had 4 million to burn, I wouldn't blow it all on 500 acres in ND to hunt white tailed deer that might score 180 at best in 10 years. Not enough land to keep the deer from roaming. For 20 K I can probably find and shoot white tails on some big private ranch in Kansas that score over 180 inches every year. Or Iowa for that matter. I could probably hunt the Lekowsky's place for the right price. Then what?? There are so many other options that I'd like to explore. Now if I had 40 million, then WTH. Buy two.

Looks like a group buy.

Wow a group for this site would be insane…I mean you’d have half the land in shelter belts the other half would be tilled edge to edge … most of it posted, most of it not posted some of it no trespassing, rocks in the middle of section lines the other section lines plowed up , tree stands, ground blinds guys walking all over the place … giant bait piles….then there’s the private fishing pond with aluminum boats pulling bouncers, glass boats pitching cranks shore fisherman pitching jigs and the Ranger guys just out driving around in circles with the throttle wide open …

…sign me up
